Your adventure begins with a stay in Victoria Falls, where you have time to explore one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders and choose from a range of optional activities such as a guided tour of the Falls, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi or a thrilling helicopter flight above the cascading water.
From Victoria Falls you travel to Msuna Island to board the Zambezi Trader, a comfortable river cruiser that journeys along the tranquil waters of the Zambezi River and Lake Kariba. Over the next few days you will enjoy leisurely cruising, wildlife encounters and tender-boat excursions for bird watching, fishing and game viewing along the riverbanks. Evenings are spent under vast African skies with delicious meals onboard, including a memorable beach braai on the river’s edge. This unique experience offers an intimate way to explore the wild beauty of the Zambezi before returning to Victoria Falls for your onward journey.

Day 1
Fly from OR Tambo Johannesburg to Victoria Falls.
On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Day 2
Day at leisure in Victoria Falls. Optional activities can be pre-booked such as a Tour of the Falls, Sunset Cruise or Helicopter Flight.
Day 3
Transfer from Victoria Falls town to Msuna Island for embarkation on the Zambezi Trader. Cruise along the Zambezi River to Elephant Bay and enjoy sundowners followed by dinner onboard.
Day 4
Full-day cruising on the Zambezi River and Lake Kariba. Enjoy morning and afternoon tender-boat activities including wildlife viewing, bird watching or fishing. Lunch and dinner served onboard with a beach braai in the evening (weather permitting).
Day 5
Continue cruising on the Zambezi River with morning and afternoon tender-boat excursions for wildlife viewing, bird watching or fishing. All meals enjoyed onboard including dinner in the evening.
Day 6
Breakfast onboard followed by disembarkation at Msuna Island. Road transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight.
