Located in Jambiani, on the east coast of Zanzibar, Reef & Beach Resort is set on the reefs edge with 600m of luxuriously tropical beachfront. Surrounded by palm trees swaying gently in fresh sea breezes the resort features two swimming pools, a new Jetty walkway to the Jetty Bar and a sun terrace with comfy sunbeds from which to marvel at magnificent ocean views. Surrounded by incredible Indian Ocean waters and unadulterated coral reefs, it is no surprise that Zanzibar offers a starry-eyed experience of snorkelling, swimming, diving and exotic sunsets. Visit the tortoise sanctuary on Prison Island and take a traditional dhow cruise to explore the Menai Bay conservation area, which is home to magnificent humpback and bottlenose dolphins.

Reef and Beach Resort Zanzibar

The resort has been renovated in 2014, using materials that are respectful to the environment, and maintaining an authentic African style with European comfort. The management has been taken over by the AtoZ Resort & Safari Group, owned by Bert Schoonvelde, with new daily management and excellent professional staff speaking English, French, Dutch, German and Spanish.

The Reef & Beach Resort has 16 Ocean view bungalows, 4 Garden view bungalows, 12 Luxury suites, 8 Standard suites and 1 Villa. The swimming pool, sand beach, massage area, conference hall, together with the restaurant (buffet and a-la carte) and bars (pool, jetty and restaurant). We have built a beautifull jetty on the Indian Ocean with a bar and lounge area. Using the best materials that are respectful to the environment, and maintaining an authentic African style with European comfort.
