Long Beach

This resort features the longest and widest stretch of white-sand coastline of any Mauritian resort. Beyond the beach, the tropical lagoon with its crystal clear blue waters and rare coral formations is a snorkelling paradise. The resort is about a 15-minute drive from the centre of Flacq and approximately 55 km from Mauritius Airport. The hotel is the centre point of an urban-style piazza with restaurants, shops and bars. Its architecture brings tropical interpretations to contemporary urban themes, softened by natural forms, local detailing and materials. The buildings merge with the resort's extensive lush tropical gardens. Built in 2011, this beach resort comprises a total of 255 rooms. It features 4 swimming pools where sports enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of water sports. There are also a number of recreational activities provided for guests who prefer to stay dry.

Children

We’ve got plenty on offer to keep our younger guests occupied from dusk to dawn at the Sun Kids Club. There are yoga classes, archery, wall climbing and a host of other fun, age-appropriate activities for kids and teens to enjoy. Once a week, your child can be a little Chef at Long Beach with a fun cooking demonstration and pizza making, after which each child receives a certificate from our Executive Chef. There are also DJ classes and painting classes for little ones.
The Kids Club is located close to the fitness centre and Teens Club, and meals are catered for, so you have the option to fetch your kids for meals or let them enjoy dining with their new friends at the Kids Club.

The Waves Club is dedicated to teens aged 12-17 years and offers exciting excursions and social opportunities like beach barbecues, pizza nights and even a teens disco with a DJ. There’s a games room equipped with video games, pool and tennis tables, and teens can also learn about cocktails and enjoy a cocktail mixology class.

Spa
No island escape is complete without a day of spa pampering to soothe body and soul. Aside from its signature the Cinq Mondes Spa and Wellness Retreat at Long Beach offers a range of Ayurvedic, Taoist and Detox treatments. There are also Yoga and Qi Gong courses available, ensuring that your luxury holiday is also a rejuvenating retreat.

Fitness & Gym
Fitness fanatics need not skip their daily workouts while on holiday; we have a fully equipped fitness centre and various sports facilities on site, including 4 floodlit tennis courts and an indoor lane pool. There are also professional trainers offering classes, and you can even experience pool-sessions with French Olympian Cecile Jeanson, so you can keep in shape while making those magical holiday memories.

Swimming Pools
Just looking to hang out and have fun? There are no fewer than four swimming pools at Long Beach, the main pool being a 1 400m2 expanse of cool comfort, situated in close proximity to the bar. And the kids-only pool is the perfect place for our younger guests to take their first strokes in a safe, comfortable environment.

Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club

Nestled in one of the most picturesque and tranquil settings in the world, Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club is a haven for golfers of all levels.
Designed by the famous golf champion, Bernhard Langer, Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club is an 19 holes golf course which lies on the east coast of Mauritius. The island golf course is reachable only by a ‘special golf’ boat shuttle from its private jetty or by a scenic helicopter flip. Our spectacular golf course in Mauritius covers 38 hectares of the iconic Ile aux Cerfs Island with the holes snaking along the preserved tropical flora and fauna of the island, boasting naturally in the undulating topography with volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies.
All 19 holes of this island golf have views of the ocean – some with glimpses across clearings through the trees; others by coming close to the shore.

Anahita Golf Club

A paradise for golfers, the Anahita Golf course is a delight for amateurs and professionals alike.
This spectacular golf course, with many of the holes hugging the water’s edge of the largest lagoon in Mauritius, was opened in 2008 and built to USGA standards. The golf course is challenging for all golfers and six different tee off options gives everybody the opportunity to appreciate the intricacies off this golfing master piece. Don’t forget your camera; the golf course presents many opportunities to capture your special memories.
One of South Africans favourite golfing sons, multiple champion, Ernie Els, was intrigued and excited when he visited the site for the first time. It was a pioneering adventure through the thick bush which populated this part of the island. Ernie’s designs always incorporate wide fairways, well bunkered greens and a host of teeing options, all ensuring a fun but challenging experience. In this pasture, nestles between ocean and mountains, the biggest challenge of the one who surveys is to stay focused as the surrounding natural features are truly captivating.
