- USD 1 per person per day new infrastructure tax imposed by the Zanzibar Revenue Board. This tax is charged directly on the hotel bill and payable to the hotel direct upon check out. Applicable to both adults and children.
Karafuu Vlllage Beach Resort
Karafuu Village Beach Resort Zanzibar has its architecture, as well as décor, in the traditional Zanzibar style. The Hotel is set on a secluded stretch of powder-white sand. Karafuu also has a gorgeous, tropical garden on the island’s east coast. A mere 50 minute drive from the airport; Karafuu Village Beach Resort, is the only hotel, where you can enjoy a comfortable swim in the ocean, at low tide.
With a choice of Garden rooms, Cottages (Bondeni Rooms) and Junior Suites; there’s sure to be an accommodation style to suit your taste as well as budget.
Guests on the all inclusive package, also have a choice of 3 restaurants; Plus the resort’s Masai Village, offers barbecue dinners twice a week, together with traditional Masai entertainment. The a la carte restaurant with its fabulous sea views, is perfect for that special celebration. The resort has hands-on as well as attentive management. There is also daily entertainment; a PADI dive school; 3 large pools; swim up bars; as well as a scenic Spa, with a Jacuzzi pool.
