Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari

Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari, located in Tinley Manor, approxiatey one hour from Durban and only 20 minutes from King Shaka International Airport, will be South Africa’s very first high-end all-inclusive holiday club, be the first to experience it!  The resort is due to open in Mid 2026 on the spectacular Dolphin Coast, north of Durban, in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. This all-inclusive Resort will offer an unprecedented experience: a holiday in unspoilt natural surroundings on the shores of the Indian Ocean, along with an optional immersive safari adventure based at Mpilo Safari Lodge which may be booked in addition to the beach resort.

The Resort offers a variety of accommodation.  Deluxe and Superior rooms are the core offering, featuring bright, modern, and functional designs that incorporate locally sourced materials and colours inspired by the South African coast.

The Exclusive Collection space, is the highest level of accommodation, offering enhanced luxury, refined suites, and personalized services for a more intimate experience. Exclusive Collection guests receive access to their own Private Ilanga pool, Serene lounge area and refined bar, Priority booking at the specialty restaurant, Concierge services.

For the “Safari” part of the experience, Club Med is developing an exclusive lodge reserved for its guests within an 18,000-hectare Big-5 game reserve (a 3.5-hour drive or 40-minute flight away).   The lodge will feature 75 premium tents and offers a full range of safari amenities, including supervised children’s zones and a swimming pool in the adult lounge area.  This may be booked as an addition to your Beach resort stay.

Restaurants and Bars:  A vast, 1,000-seater main restaurant offering a wide range of international and gourmet cuisine. Specialty Restaurant, Injabulo Main Bar: Features a coffee shop corner and gourmet snacks. Dunes Beach Bar: An ocean-facing bar capturing the local surf culture.

Club Med’s First-Ever Surf School (for ages 6+). Padel Tennis Courts, Archery, Beach Volleyball, and various watersports (sailing, snorkelling, diving). Flying Trapeze rigs and instruction. Guided Gravel Bike Tours.

The resort also offers a large Convention Centre: A state-of-the-art facility with seating for up to 500 guests, featuring multiple versatile rooms for meetings and exhibitions.
