LOCATION
North East Coast
This 4 star, adults only resort has 74 villas located along the Matemwe beachfront on the north east coast with a panoramic view of Mnemba Island and in front of one of the island’s best snorkelling spots. The design with its open, light-filled spaces is rooted in nature and tradition and highlights local craftmanship. Each villa has direct pool access or a private pool and a seamless connection to the outdoors.
SWIM UP ROOM
Our Swim-Up Villas are spacious and bathed in light. Each villa has direct access to a shared infinity pool, so you can step into the water from your terrace. An outdoor shower surrounded by nature allows you to cool off; while inside, the king-size bed faces the terrace and promises a gentle wake-up call. 5 mins walk to beach.
DELUXE GARDEN VILLA
Our intimate Deluxe Villas each have a private pool and garden, perfect for getting away from it all. The large bathroom has a double walk-in shower, which opens onto a shaded terrace, garden and private pool. Inside, there is a bedroom, desk and reading area (or siesta area, if you prefer)!
DELUXE VILLA PARTIAL SEA VIEW
The same calm, comfort and privacy as our Deluxe Villa, but with the ocean peeking through the trees.
This spacious villa comes with a private pool and garden, a double walk-in shower that opens onto a shaded terrace, and a bedroom with a desk and reading area (or siesta spot – no judgment).
Bonus: a lovely view of the sea in the distance.
SEAFRONT VILLA
Our two-level Seafront Villas have panoramic views of the ocean. Each one features an upstairs lounge that opens onto a terrace with a private pool, where the water seems to melt into the horizon. Downstairs, the bedroom extends into a private outdoor area - perfect for unwinding to the gentle sounds of the lagoon.
BEACHFRONT VILLA
Beachfront Villas have only the ocean as their neighbour. Each one has direct access to the beach, with a straw hut and two deckchairs reserved especially for you. Inside, the villa is spacious and bathed in light. On the ground floor, the bedroom opens onto a shaded terrace with a table for al fresco dining by the lagoon, and a hammock where you can drift off to the rhythm of the waves. Upstairs, a cosy lounge with a traditional Swahili bed awaits, leading out to a private pool with a view. Ready to disconnect? Private pool.
