The Wonderful Women of iGO Travel

Women’s Day marks the anniversary of the great women’s march of 1956, where women marched to the Union Buildings to protest against the carrying of pass books.  Now, 61 years later, women are an integral part of the workplace and just as important as men are.  To honour the anniversary of the Women’s March, we are introducing you to our wonderful women of iGO Travel.

If we wanted to relax we would, if we wanted to be out and about we could. The Thai curries were amazing, never have I tasted so much flavour in those curries! There were endless amounts of restaurants as well as so many tours and options to choose from. Just the relaxing vibe of the whole place set us in such a good mood!”

The Mekong Delta was an experience of a life-time and a must when travelling to Vietnam. The country has so much to offer that it is difficult to summarise. I came home with a new perspective and appreciation for how fortunate we are with the space and standard of living that we have here at home. I was struck by the fact that even though the population in general is poor they are happy and everyone also cares for each other. In the mornings the entire neighbourhood is on the streets having breakfast together. Social ties are very close and everyone is hard-working.”
