Central Park Horse and Carriage Tour
Climb into your lavishly decorated carriage and set off on your adventure though the most beautiful place in the whole of Manhattan. Like something from a fairy-tale; your experienced driver merely clucks his tongue to the horse and you’re off and away on a journey to never forget. Covering far more ground than any comparable tour; your trusty steed will lead you on a loop of some of New York’s most famous landmarks and monuments.
On the way you will go past The Dairy; a charming building full of history; once used to provide the city’s children with fresh milk but now the park’s first ever visitor centre. Head on to the Carousel; one of the park’s most popular attractions and always hugely popular with children. A further tug on the reins and the next stop is the statue of William Shakespeare. Donated by the citizens of New York; this claimed the honour of being the first sculpture of a writer ever to be placed on Literary Walk and started a rich tradition.
Take a mid-way pause at the Bethesda Fountain Overlook to admire the famous centrepiece before turning into Strawberry Fields to pay tribute to John Lennon; whose life was tragically cut short in this city. Marvel at the opulent Trump International Hotel and Tower before completing this unforgettable trip at the Time Warner Center; once the most expensive building in New York. Children and adults alike will enjoy the sights, sounds and the journey itself in your very own fairy-tale of New York.
It’s all aboard for a cruise that will take you past some of the most iconic sights of New York and will inspire you with tales from its intriguing past and present. An essential on everyone’s trip to New York for those close-up photos of the symbol of the US; the Statue of Liberty, and a scenic panorama of the city from the water!
New York’s fabulous skyline comes alive as you stare up from the water at the awesome skyscrapers during this 75 minute Liberty Cruise. A scintillating trip along the famous Hudson River will enthrall you with the fascinating story and development of this diverse cosmopolitan city as you see sights such as the Statue of Liberty; Ellis Island, the historic immigration centre and the striking skyscrapers of the World Financial Centre.
