On the southern Peninsula of Pemba close to the Quirimbas National Park, it offers the opportunity to combine an African Safari with a beach getaway.What could be better than getting out of bed and walking straight onto the beach? Stay at one of the 10 beach suites and this is all yours.There is no shortage of tours and excursions in the area, including Island hopping in the Quirimbas archipelago, or hiking in the Quirimbas National Park. The water sports are enough to keep you busy all day. These include snorkelling, diving, big game fishing, kite surfing, as well as stand-up paddling. If game viewing tops your list, try a Safaris to Gorongosa National Park, or to Nissa National Reserve.  Mozambique is a natural wonderland. Seasonal whale watching is an amazing experience.

The 50 rooms, 40 deluxe rooms and 10 suites, are set out in beach bungalows and are spacious and bright, decorated in a contemporary style with local details and materials, equipped with all the comforts and with a private terrace offering stunning ocean views.
At the centre of the Resort, is a saltwater swimming pool with sun beds for relaxing on and a bar that remains open until late so that one can enjoy the magic of the African nights and one of the most important aspects of Mequfi Beach is its’ cuisine, which is able to satisfy even the most discerning palates, with 3 different restaurants available for guests.

NGOMA VILLAGE
Learn how the locals live! A fascinating excursion to Ngoma, the beach, the agricultural field and the village, where hundreds of smiling children will welcome and follow you as you learn about their lives. Please do not give the children sweets! Dental hygiene is not paramount, and the sugar is very bad for them. Rather take soccer balls, or pens / pencils / books.

MECUFI VILLAGE
The village of Mecufi is located a few kilometers from the resort. This scenic tour allow you to explore a local village, handicrafts market, and a huge mango tree where under its shade there is usually a fruit market.

PEMBA CITY TOUR
The city of Pemba offers many opportunities to purchase clothes, or local handicrafts, or stop at a beach in front of the Bay of Pemba, where you can take pictures, a dip in the sea and during whale season, you may be lucky to spot one of these majestic creatures of the sea.

Full Day Charter – Departure at 05:00 and return at 15:00
