Includes breakfast, lunch & dinner! This beachfront lodge in Mozambique is the perfect spot for carefree Family Holidays, Corporate events, Fishing, Honeymoons and Getaways.
Indulge in our pristine accommodation with en suite bedrooms; lazily choose between activities on offer. Castelo do Mar is situated on the water’s edge at Linga Linga, the tiny peninsula that juts into the Inhambane Bay, Mozambique.
The Linga Linga area has much to offer in addition to the world class fishing as well as diving; including excellent birding in the mangroves, a resident dugong “sirenian”, pristine tidal islets as well as long stretches of deserted beach. The locals often refer to the peninsula as an island because waters can rise over the sands at high tides; making access by road impossible. Castelo do Mar Mozambique; the Lodge; is of historical significance and has preserved remains of a Norwegian whaling station that dates back to around 1911 to 1915

Humpback Whales – migrate annually from Antarctica to the warm waters close to the equator where they give birth and breed and are normally there from June to October.
