From Samba to Tango
- Day 1 – Buenos Aires:
Reception and assistance at the Airport International of Ezeiza. Transfer to the selected hotel. A visit to the northern area of the city. During the tour, we can also visit La Recoleta, one of the most sophisticated neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires. In its cemetery, we will have the opportunity to admire this jewel of architecture; It is here, where personalities like Eva Perón rest in peace. The visit continues through the neighbourhood of Palermo. Lunch. At the end of transfer to the hotel.
- Day 2 – Buenos Aires:
Today we will dedicate the morning to visit the southern area of Buenos Aires. The tour starts in Mayo Square, site where the second foundation of the city took place. Here we appreciate the Government’s House (Casa Rosada), the Cathedral as well as the Cabildo. We will continue to San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood of the city. At this point, we will make stop to visit the “Zanjón de Granados”; under this building, you can also visit a tunnel with more than 4 centuries of Buenos Aires history. At the end of the visit, we will continue to the picturesque, colourful port neighbourhood of La Boca, with its famous Caminito street. We end the tour in Puerto Madero, the most modern neighbourhood of the city. Return to the hotel. That evening, we will attend a Dinner Tango Show; to also enjoy the magnetism of Tango. Return to the hotel.
- Day 3 – Buenos Aires – Foz do Iguacu:
Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Iguazu. Arrival, reception in the airport and also transfer, to your hotel in Foz do Iguazu. In the afternoon, we visit the Foz do Iguaçu National Park to get a different view of the falls. At the end, transfer back to the hotel.
- Day 4 – Puerto Iguazu:
In the morning, we visit the Iguazu falls on the Argentine side; Also declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO as well as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. We will walk around the Devil’s Throat balcony, upper as well as lower walkways. This is where you can opt to take the Great Adventure (optional). A 1-hour boat trip will bring us closer to waterfalls, go downstream. At the same time, take an interpretation of flora and fauna trail through the jungle. Lunch. On the way back; we will make a stop in a local market, where can also try empanadas; as well as local wine(consumption not included).
- Day 5 – Foz do Iguacu – Rio de Janeiro:
In due time, transfer to the airport; Also to board your onward flight to destination Rio of Janeiro. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.
- Day 6 – Rio de Janeiro:
Departure from the hotel to visit the most famous sites of the city and see the natural beauty of Rio de Janeiro from above. First will arrive to the base of the Corcovado Hill to ascent to the top and enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro. The statue of Christ the Redeemer, was named as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. At the end of the excursion, enjoy a sumptuous lunch. You will visit a local market ; where we will also enjoy, a local fruit tasting.
- Day 7 – Rio de Janeiro:
Today, we will visit the famous “Pão do Açúcar”, this has become an icon of the city. The journey, to the top, is done in cable cars. The cable cars are glazed cabins, that will also take you to the top of Sugarloaf: that rises to 395 masl (1.296 ft). From here, is a magnificent 360-degree view of city: including Botafogo as well as Copacabana beaches, Corcovado and also Rio de Janeiro downtown. Lunch; Return to the hotel.
- Day 8 – Rio de Janeiro:
Transfer to the airport, to board the scheduled flight for your onward journey / home.
