Cruise the Caribbean sailing from Fort Lauderdale

Highlights of this 11 night cruise:

Fort Lauderdale, Florida Fort Lauderdale lies along the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the New River, 25 miles north of Miami.
Its warm tropical weather attracts many people throughout the year.  For sun-worshippers, the city has six miles of beaches.
There are also many recreational waterways with extensive boating facilities, access to every conceivable water sport, a variety of fascinating museums and trendy restaurants, and an array of entertainment venues.

Oranjestad, Aruba Located on the picturesque southern coast, Oranjestad is the historic Dutch capital of Aruba, where the traditional, tall, multi-coloured houses combine carved wooden doors and typical Dutch tiles with open-air patios.
The charm of the city complements the beauty of this popular Caribbean island, where the Dutch and indigenous cultures have merged to give Aruba its unique atmosphere.  Today’s visitors can enjoy this culture along with beautiful beaches, excellent snorkelling and exciting nightlife.  Kralendijk, Bonaire Kralendijk is the sleepy capital of Bonaire, an island in the Dutch Antilles.

Kralendijk is lined with delightfully pastel stucco houses, in pinks, oranges and lime greens.
Famous for its diving – the island is surrounded by a Marine Park – Bonaire also offers such treats as flamingos, hiking and the only barefoot casino in the Caribbean.  St. George’s, Grenada From the moment you set your eyes on St.

George’s, you’ll see why it’s considered one of the most picturesque ports in the Caribbean.
Lush vegetation, mountainous terrain and colourful colonial architecture make up the landscape.
And if the sights don’t stimulate your senses, the aroma will.  Grenada is also filled with spice trees and is a leading source of many different spices, including nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and cocoa.

Bridgetown, Barbados Barbados gained independence from the British in 1966, but the English influence is still apparent on this stunning Caribbean island.  English is the native tongue, Cricket is the national sport and tea is still a favourite drink.
It is no wonder that this piece of paradise was once called ‘Little England ‘. Castries, St Lucia St Lucia has been a part of the British Commonwealth since 1803.
But prior to that, it was often occupied by the French, which is evident in much of the island’s culture.

Castries offers a colourful local market and great shopping.  And the surrounding areas offer lush rainforests, striking waterfalls, beautiful beaches and Sulphur Springs ? the world’s only drive-through volcano.
St.  John’s, Antigua The first settlement on the island we now know as Antigua was not established until the 1600s, when English settlers arrived.
Antigua remained a part of the British Commonwealth until its independence in 1981.  Today, Antigua is a popular holiday destination, attracting tourists with its ideal climate, amazing landscape, leisurely lifestyle and 365 beautiful beaches – one for every day of the year!
