Travel from Croatian capital – Zagreb, all the way through the mountain area of Gorski Kotar to stunning Plitvice National Park and further along the Adriatic coast to monumental, UNESCO protected Dalmatian town Zadar. Day 1: Arrival in Zagreb
City tour of Zagreb which includes a walk through the historic Upper Town with the St. Mark’s Church, the Cathedral, the Government Palace as well as the Lotrščak tower. Visit of two amazing museums; The Museum of Broken Relationships is dedicated to failed love relationships. Its exhibits include personal objects left over from former lovers, accompanied by brief descriptions. Museum of illusions, is a perfect place for all generations, so be sure to visit this unusual and exciting place. No matter how old you are, you will spend most of your visit with a big smile on your face. In this museum where things do not appear as they should, and that is where the fun begins.

Day 2: Excursion to Zagreb surroundings
Visit to castle Trakošćan -the most romantic castle in Croatia, surrounded by lake and beautiful park with exotic plants. After Trakošćan we continue to Krapina, the world’s largest Neanderthal richest site, famous for its so called “Krapina-man”. Lunch in traditional restaurant with typical štrukli on menu. One more sight for this day is Kumrovec- ethnological museum’s village where you can experience the life of people in traditional early 20th century village, which is also the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito.

Day 3: Plitvice lakes
Excursion to the most popular and most famous Croatian national Park the Plitvice lakes. The most beautiful and the oldest national park in Croatia and UNESCO protection; consists of 16 lakes connected via waterfalls. The park is visited mostly on foot; however the entrance includes a boat ride across the Emerald Green Lake “Kozjak”. The visit of the park grounds takes approx. 3-4 hours.After the sightseeing drive to the Adriatic coast for overnight in the region of Zadar.
Day 4: Zadar
Sightseeing Zadar – 3000 years of rich history! Visiting the old city of Zadar; the antique Forum, the old church St. Donat, the Cathedral St Anastasia, Museums, monuments as well as palaces as you get to know all about the rich history of this beautiful old city. However some of the most impressing sights is a modern architectural object – the Zadar Sea organ. It is an experimental musical instrument, which plays music by way of sea waves as well as tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps.
