Burma Adventure – Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan, Kalaw & Inle Lake

This is it. This is the closest you’ll get to being Indiana Jones. Imagine this; a country bursting-at-the-seams with jungles and mysterious temples. A place where cultural rituals have gone unchanged for 1000’s of years. You can watch the sunset over a temple strewn horizon. Cruise on an ancient lake. This is one of the last great wildernesses of Asia.

Myanmar is situated along the eastern coast of the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea and its northern borders stretch all the way up to the Eastern Himalayan mountain range. It borders India to the west, China to the north, and Thailand and Laos to the east. One third of Burma’s perimeter is uninterrupted and undeveloped coastline.

Burma has one of the lowest tourist crime rates in the world, so travellers can relax in the knowledge that their trip will be untroubled. It is only recently making an appearance on the international travel scene due to its internal politics, but Burma’s unspoiled beaches, incredible historical attractions, snow-capped mountains and jungle wilderness are all fast becoming an irresistible draw for the avid traveller.

    • Admire the ancient, golden Schwedagon Pagoda
    • Walk amongst the monks at the largest monastery in Amarapura
    • Marvel at the view from 1,518 mtr high Mt Popa
    • Drift across the serene and ancient Inle Lake
    • Get snap happy at the temples of Bagan

      Freetime

        • Boat trip to the world’s largest bronze bell
        • Gaze over the 2,200 Bagan temples from a hot air balloon
        • Inle Lake boat ride to the ‘rotating market’
        • Watch traditional dance shows in Yango
